Oscar leads Amarillo Accounting with a clear mission: giving small businesses the same high-quality financial support typically reserved for large organisations. He began his career at KPMG and PwC in Madrid before moving to the UK in 2013, where he qualified as an ACCA with Grant Thornton in Manchester. During his time at these major companies, Oscar audited more than 50 businesses of different sizes and sectors, gaining first-hand insight into what strong finance functions look like in practice.
He later moved into senior roles in internal audit and finance management for two listed companies, focusing on implementing efficient financial systems that save time, improve visibility, and build strong, scalable finance foundations.
This blend of big-firm expertise and real-world commercial experience shaped his vision for a company that acts as a true finance partner to its clients.
Outside of work, Oscar enjoys football, chess, and hiking, and speaks Spanish and English while currently learning Portuguese.
